Your RI Weather Today – May 31, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Memorial Day 5/31/21:
Our long rainy stretch should come to an end, long enough to enjoy at least some of the holiday. Patios and yards likely to be soggy after three days of the liquid sunshine. Light rain will stop within a couple of hours of sunrise, which will be hard to see because of the cloud cover that will still be in place, Sun breaking through sometime around 4pm. Morning lows will be in the mid 50’s and afternoon highs only getting to the low 60’s with a light breeze shifting from northerly to westerly later in the day.
