Your RI Weather Today – March 1, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Cold front passes through during the afternoon, but not before wringing out some rain that will likely end between 1-2pm, and then winds will begin shifting from southerly to northwesterly, and picking up steam, driving in what will be a very cold Tuesday. Monday high should reach the upper 40’s to around 50, and then plummet to the freezing mark and below by late evening. Wind gusts upwards of 30+ mph will chill the air further in the evening.
