Your RI Weather Today – July 29, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
We’ll start the day fair enough, some morning sun and a coolish low in the low 60’s. Cloud cover begins filtering in later in the morning and becoming overcast by mid afternoon with highs topping out in the mid 70’s and a southerly breeze as light rain begins moving in from the west ahead of yet another frontal system from the Great Lakes.
We could experience some thunderstorms overnight and particularly towards daybreak, so there could be some waving trees and downed branches upon waking up Friday morning.
