Your RI Weather Today – April 1, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A cold front passes through in the night with a midnight high temperature in the mid 50’s. Temps drop behind the frontal passage through the day to an evening low in the upper 30’s, all the while accompanied by a decent northwesterly breeze gusting to 25 mph. We may get a secondary belt of light rain showers in the afternoon as a reinforcing trough passes through and ushers in dry and sinking air with the magical cloud eating properties that will begin to clear things up overnight into Friday morning.
