Tony Jones, MA, Awarded National Bariatric Board Certification

Tony Jones, a Certified Weight Management Specialist, from Narragansett, Rhode Island, has been awarded National Board Certification by the American Association of Bariatric Counselors (AABC). After completing a specialized training and education program in bariatric science, he was recently credentialed as a Board-Certified Bariatric Counselor (BCBC).

Jones earned a Master’s Degree in Media Psychology at Touro University Worldwide. After overcoming his personal struggles with obesity, he recognized the need for specialized training in Bariatric Science, which led to his fellowship with AABC.

AABC has awarded him an academic scholarship. His professional training and personal experiences will help fulfill the AABC global mission of providing best practices in the care, treatment, and prevention of obesity and related disorders.
