Mayor Hopkins Announces Park Grand Opening

Mayor Ken Hopkins has announced the inaugural celebration for the new park in Knightsville TODAY, Saturday, July 8^th. A formal speaking program and ribbon cutting will kick-off at 5 p.m. with guest speakers including Governor Daniel McKee and Senator Jack Reed, among others.

Following the speaking program and ribbon cutting will be a free music concert at the park from 6 to 9 p.m. After the formal ceremony, Mayor Hopkins said, attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy the music or take a stroll and dine at one of the many acclaimed restaurants in Knightsville.
