Time to Watch the Nursing Homes Again – Updated Coronavirus Data
Period ending September 24th:
Increases in one week
Cases: approx. 3,233 (103 more)
New cases in the past 7 days: 103 more
Cumulative resident fatalities: 863 (30 more than 2 weeks ago)
Editor’s Note: This data may be out of date by a week or more as we know of several nursing homes in the news, and to us, personally, whose data is not on here – with cases rising among staff and residents. ALSO – staff numbers are not reported in this list – as of last week, over 85 staff were confirmed throughout the state as testing positive. With nursing homes still in a good deal of shut down, staff are recognized as the source of new infection into the homes.
Nursing Homes to watch for trending uptick in numbers:
Crestwood
Grandview
Pawtucket Skilled
Riverview
Scandinavian
Village at Waterman Lake
PLEASE NOTE: This data is not necessarily up to date to the day – so it is best at this time to check in with your loved one’s facility and see what is going on right now.
