The DaVinci Center Gala honors John DeLuca and celebrates 50 years of service in Providence
DaVinci Center for Community Progress Celebrates 50 Years of Service to the North End of Providence Community, Honoring John DeLuca
The DaVinci Center for Community Progress announced its 50th anniversary, commemorating five decades of service to the community of the North End of Providence. As part of this milestone celebration, they will honor and pay tribute to the late John DeLuca, for his commitment and leadership as the Founder and Executive Director of The DaVinci Center for the past 50 years.
Since its establishment, The DaVinci Center for Community Progress has been a cornerstone of support, empowerment, and progress in the North End of Providence community. Through a diverse range of programs, initiatives, and outreach efforts, they have addressed the needs of local residents, and fostered positive change in the neighborhood.
“John’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping The DaVinci Center for Community Progress into the vital community resource it is today,” said Norma Gonzalez, Executive Director, at The DaVinci Center for Community Progress. “His dedication to serving the North End of Providence community has left an indelible mark on all those who have had the privilege of working with him.”
“We invite members of the community, partners, colleagues, and friends of The DaVinci Center to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion and paying tribute to John’s extraordinary achievements,” added Norma Gonzalez.
The DaVinci Center for Community Progress 50th Anniversary Gala will take place on March 1, 2024, at Crowne Plaza, Warwick, RI. Gene Valicenti, of WPRO and NBC10 will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
