State’s “RIDelivers” Grocery Delivery overwhelmed
As we head into the holiday times of Passover & Easter, Rhode Island’s food delivery service had had no delivery availability for most of the week.
RINewsToday has been monitoring the grocery delivery services via the state’s new website – RIDelivers. There have been no available times at the following locations:
Roch’s
Peapod
Stop & Shop stores
Shaws
Instacart
Aldi’s
Walmart
Whole Foods
At today’s press conference, the Governor was asked about this and she said that she was unaware, and that she had been looking at the website this morning. She did not know that Roch’s, who has a special arrangement with the state had put up a notice that their delivery service is now unavailable.
The Governor said that she would look into the issue.
