“Salute of Roses” – 24th Annual Rose Show, Rhode Island Rose Society

The Rhode Island Rose Society invites you to their 24th Annual Rose Show on Saturday, June 10, from 1 – 3 p.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Church, 604 Seven Mile Road, Hope, RI.
Stroll among the fragrances, colors and petals of hundreds of locally grown and exhibited roses from hybrid teas, to shrubs, to Old Garden Roses. The public can vote for the ‘Most Fragrant Rose.’
This year’s theme was chosen to honor those who have worked diligently to help us with all our Covid needs during the last three years. View arrangements designed to celebrate each group. The six classes salute —

‘Hat’s Off to Zoom.’
Vote for your favorite in each category.
Consulting Rosarians will be available all afternoon to answer your rose care questions.
There will be a Rose Care Presentation at 2:00 pm.

What is The Rhode Island Rose Society?
The Rhode Island Rose Society is an educational and social society for those who love roses and want to learn more about them. Interested people can come to one of their meetings. The object of the Rhode Island Rose Society is to study, foster, and encourage rose culture including the exhibition of roses. They meet on the second Saturday of each month at 10AM. See their membership page for information and benefits. They host a large rose show each June and have an award winning newsletter. They are part of the American Rose Society (ARS) and a member of the Yankee District of the ARS.
