RI Weather Weekend Wrap – Sat/Sun – May 2 & 3, 2020
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 5/2/20:
Whatever lingering showers we get overnight will be gone by sunrise as clearing occurs as dry air moves in driven by high pressure to the southwest. Morning lows in the upper 40’s climbing to the upper 60’s in the afternoon with a decent northwesterly breeze.
Sunday 5/3/20:

A bout of quick overnight light rain with a passing and weak disturbance clears away early, paving the way for a very nice and warm day with an afternoon high snaring the as yet elusive 70 mark, up from an morning low in the low 50’s. A developing low pressure system to our west will usher in some evening clouds and some very late night rain into early Monday morning.
