RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun – March 21 & 22, 2020
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday, 3/21/20
High pressure nudges in from the west and tries to clear away the cloudiness with limited early success. We’re lookin’ good for later in the day with normal afternoon highs in the low 50’s up from higher than normal morning lows in the low 40’s. We’ll get a bit of a breeze during the day out of the north that will introduce dry surface air over the area, far less muggy than yesterday.
Sunday 3/22/20

High pressure mosies on east and bends the winds a bit to the northeast, very dry conditions with noticeably cooler air shocking our systems awake on what’ll be a crisp Sunday morning. Early lows expected to drop to the lower 20’s and afternoon highs rising to the low 40’s under generally clear to partly cloudy skies and light northeasterly breezes.
