RI Weekend Weather Wrap – June 20 and 21, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 6/20/20:
Seems to be a familiar story with the weather these days, Father’s Day Weekend should be more of the same. Warm and fairly humid, but not devastating, afternoon highs Saturday in the mid to even upper 80’s in spots up from muggy morning lows in the mid 60’s amidst some patchy fog, mainly along coastal regions. We’ll have a decent south-southwesterly breeze to help the real-feel down a bit, with more sun than clouds through the afternoon.
Sunday, Father’s Day 6/21/20:

A bit more in the way of cloud cover for Father’s Day, slightly higher dewpoints as well, good day to sit in front of the TV for some sports…..IF THERE WERE ANY!
Morning lows in the mid to upper 60’s with coastal patchy fog reaching further inland during the sunrise hours, but burning off before mid morning in most cases. Afternoon highs will reach only into the lower 80’s given the additional cloud cover that will likely be around to limit high temps. Winds more out of the south, but still in the same 10-15 mph range with a few higher gusts.
