RI Weekend Weather Wrap – June 12/13, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 6/12/21:
A weak trough of low pressure will sweep through overnight and trigger some light rain showers ending after sunrise. A morning low in the upper 50’s will rise slowly to the upper 60’s under considerable but gradually diminishing cloud cover and a light southeasterly breeze.
Sunday 6/13/21:

A morning low in the upper 50’s under a light veil of cirrus cloud cover rises to the mid 70’s with a southerly breeze. Later in the evening cloud cover thickens well ahead of a low pressure system moving in from the Great Lakes region, so we can expect some light rain after midnight into Monday.
