RI Weather Today, Wednesday 12/18/19:
By Jack Donnelly
One frontal system leaves for oceanic “pastures”, leaving behind an additional dusting to an inch of early morning snow, followed by clearing afternoon skies. Don’t be fooled, as there is another quick-hitting clipper type low pressure system that will cruise on through later in the afternoon with some flurries and light snow, but not much in the way of accumulation expected. Westerlies will remain gusty and shift slightly to northwesterly through the day amidst a slightly cooler than normal temperature range with an early low in the mid 20’s and an afternoon high in the upper 30’s.
