RI Weather Today, Tuesday 2/11/20:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Low pressure developing over the mid-Atlantic along the slow-moving cold front intensifies slightly. Light rain development will spread over southern New England through most of the afternoon with continued dense and low cloud cover to remain through early evening before showing any signs of thinning or breaking. Given the slow movement of the front and the extensive cloud cover, we’ll experience a tight temperature range with a low in the upper 30’s and a high in the low 40’s as a gentle breeze wafts in from the north.
A Tuesday with a case of the “Mondays”.
