RI Weather Today – Thurs, Oct. 29, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Remnants of Tropical Storm Zeta stretch out and reach into southern New England, giving us pretty much an all-day rain event for the area. Rain starting around 8 am lasts through the night with east-northeasterly winds picking up steam later in the afternoon and evening, gusting around 30 mph, so watch for water-laden leafy limbs dropping here and there, maybe some downed power lines as well. Tight temperature range with a high in to upper 40’s and lows in the mid 40’s.
Just a generally raw mid-Autumn day. Enjoy!
