RI Weather Today – Sun, June 7, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Cold front is well out of our hair with some nice and dry conditions to enjoy for our early Sunday morning. Dewpoints will be dropping into the 50’s post-front, northerly continental winds gusting into the 20 mph range will help keep things dry, with the exception of an upper disturbance that will likely trigger an elevated shower or two somewhere over the area from late morning to mid afternoon. Showers will be widely scattered with a low probability of occurrence, but don’t be surprised to have to dodge some drops. Morning lows in the low 60’s and afternoon highs in the upper 60’s to around 70.
