RI Weather Today – Sept. 2, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Weather systems team up and make for a rainy Wednesday. A warm front moving in from the west will be fed by Tropical Storm Omar. He is not a direct threat to us, headed out to sea he is. We can expect the main belt of rain beginning around 9am and lasting until about 4pm, maybe some earlier light showers and maybe lingering mist. Temperatures start in the mid 60’s and lift only to the low 70’s in the rain with bit of a southeasterly breeze.
