RI Weather Today, Monday, Nov. 25, 2019
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
The nor’easter rains have ended and we can enjoy a day or two of pleasant and warmer than normal weather beginning with today.
We’ll see lots of sunshine and some fair weather cumulus and high cirrus crossing paths with light westerly breezes keeping things fresh. We’ll have morning lows in the mid 30’s with fairly high relative humidity so expect to do a little windshield scraping. Afternoon highs will climb to the low 50’s, around 5 degrees warmer than normal.
It’s not June, but we’ll take the 50’s any day in late November.
The Leonids meteor shower is still ongoing, usually for the last three weeks of November each year, so if you’re out on a late night walk, keep your eyes up and catch some burning stones hurtling through the sky.
