RI Weather Today, Monday, May 4, 2020
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Low pressure slips out to sea to our south largely unnoticed, and dry air will fill in behind it through the morning as temps begin in the mid 50’s and rise into the mid and upper 60’s during the afternoon. A trailing upper trough will slide across the area and stir up some mid-level cumulus and stratocumulus on a northwesterly breeze with maybe some virga here and there under the clouds, but nothing in the way of serious rain expected.
A nice Monday for a change.
