RI Weather Today, Monday 5/11/20
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A classic dreary and wet Monday, light rain setting the mood through most of the day. A decent breeze will make already coolish temps feel raw, afternoon highs in the upper 50’s up from morning lows in the upper 40’s. The weather system generating all of this will move through pretty quickly, and me may even see the sun in the daytimes last hours. There is the slight chance for an embedded thunderstorm in the mix during the afternoon, so at least there’s the chance for a bit of electrified excitement, maybe a flash to brighten what’ll be a downer Monday.
