RI Weather Today – Mon, Nov. 2, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Frontal systems clear out of the area, and high pressure begins to build in from the southwest. Northwesterly winds help bring in cool Canadian air, so afternoon highs will be much cooler than normal, somewhere in the upper 30’s following low 30’s in the morning. Winds will be gusting in the 30-40 mph range, so acth for branches weakened by the latest inclement weather to be dropping.
