RI Weather Today – Mon, Jan. 4, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Low pressure continues to move slowly out to sea, with an eventual break up of cloud cover later in the day. Until then, there’s still the chance for some light spits of rain and snow mixed to be thrown our way. Northerly winds will be gusting behind the storms’ passage, nothing terrible, 20-25 mph, adding a chill effect to the morning lows in the low 30’s and afternoon highs in the upper 30’s.
