RI Weather Today – Mon, Aug. 24, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Southerly flow keeps the humidity up, and the temperatures along with it. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 80’s from a low in the low 70’s with some morning mist to deal with. A weak disturbance inland may lead to a shower/T’Storm or two in the afternoon, weakening as they move southwest into the stabilizing sea breeze east of the Connecticut River.
