RI Weather Today, June 4, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
High pressure off to the southeast and a frontal boundary over the mid Atlantic states combine to bring in some warm low level air to the area that will translate to afternoon high temps in the mid 80’s up from a morning low in the mid 60’s. Dewpoints will remain in the 50’s, so it will not be a muggy heat. Most of the cloud cover will be higher base cumulus and cirrus, so plenty of sun should get through, filtered though it will be at times.
