RI Weather Today, June 25, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Cold front heads out to sea, and dry air moves in, at least for a day. Should be a fog-free morning for coastal regions finally, and a generally very nice early summer day for all. Morning lows in the mid 60’s warm to the mid 80’s, but dewpoints will be held down in the low 60’s, a dramatically better feel than dewpoints in the mid 70’s that I under forecast over the last two days. Ouch! Winds shift to southwesterly in the afternoon under the sea influence, but will not be able to add too much humidity given the dry air in place behind the frontal passage.
We’ll be spared.
