RI Weather Today – July 30, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
It is Summer after all, so this kind of heat is to be expected, but sheesh, some relief would be nice once in awhile. Anyway….
Another hot and humid afternoon with some cloud cover and isolated showers and thunderstorms popping up along a weak cold front. Morning lows close to 70 rising to about 90 with fairly muggy upper 60’s dew points. Southwesterly breeze kicks up in the afternoon and quells some of the convective development, but I bet we’ll see a T-storm somewhere.
