RI Weather Today, Friday 1/10/20:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Southwesterly breezes pick up ahead of a developing low pressure system over the upper mid-west and Great Lakes bring warmer air into our region for the next couple of days, but the clouds are coming too.
We’ll have a morning low in the mid 20’s under partly cloudy skies, warming to an afternoon high in the upper 40’s as cloud cover thickens and lowers. No rain is expected until later in the weekend, but the added warmth may take the edge off of a cloudy Friday.
