RI Weather Today – Fri, July 10, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A coastal low pressure system will roll north and pass to our west and up the Hudson Valley, ahead of which periods of rain will move through our area beginning in the midday and carrying through the night. There may be a gap in early afternoon where the rain may cease, but I’m not too confident of this happening. Plan on getting wet. Morning lows will be in the low 70’s and rise to the upper 70’s during the afternoon with a southeasterly breeze with some gusts over 20 mph.
