RI Weather Today – August 5, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Tropical Storm Isaias will have moved well to our north and take most of the wind and rain with it. We’ll still have a gusty day as air fills in the low pressure void left behind by the storm, southwesterly winds occasionally reaching into the 30 mph range. Expect increasing sunshine through the day as high temperatures reach into the upper 80’s from morning lows in the lower 70’s.
