RI Weather, Thursday 1/23/20:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A nice west-southwesterly breeze will draw warmth into the area through the day with unseasonably high temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above normal, peaking in the mid 40’s up from a morning low in the mid 20’s under a mostly clear sky. Some high thin cirrus eventually crawl in from the west, but no significant weather is expected, high pressure suppressing any dense cloud development.
