by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 10/7/23:
A cold front approaching from the west moves in and combines somewhat with the remnants of Philippe over the western Atlantic and delivers us some showers off and on through the day beginning in the mid morning and carrying through into the evening. The cold front passes through, with winds shifting from northeasterly to westerly and cloud cover breaking up. Daytime highs in the mid 60’s with evening lows in the mid 50’s.
It’s a “D” day!
Sunday 10/8/23:

Mostly clear skies for our Sunday with cooler continental air in place behind the cold front, afternoon highs reaching only the low 60’s and evening lows dropping to the low 50’s with a wind generally out of the west gusting to 25 mph.
