Rhode Island Weekend Weather for Sept. 21/22, 2024 – Jack Donnelly
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 9/21/24:
Our pesky low pressure center actually retrogrades and gives us a better chance for light rain during the day. Plus some cooler temps as well, Highs in the upper 50s and lows in the mid 50’s, so kinda raw…..Fallish, you might say……
It’s a “D” day!

Low pressure finally heads to saltier pastures out to sea, and we’ll see an influx of drier air mixing in during the day, cloud cover diminishing with the chance for some breaks in the overcast moving into the afternoon. Highs in the low 60’s and lows in the low 50’s with a still brisk northeasterly breeze.
It’s a “B” day!
