Rhode Island Weekend Weather for July 13/14, 2024 – John Donnelly

by John Donnelly, meteorologist

Saturday 7/13/24:

The sticky and insulting humidity will last another day in addition to morning showers as a weak frontal boundary stubbornly hangs around over southern New England before an upper trough drags it away kicking and screaming. Highs in the upper 80’s with lows in the lower 70’s and a southwesterly breeze.

It’s a “C-” day!

Sunday 7/14/24:

We catch a break from the humidity, but the blazing heat will return for Sunday, afternoon highs climbing into the lower 90’s with a light westerly breeze after a morning low in the upper 60’s. Dew points will be dropping through the afternoon, so the air will have a decidedly less obnoxious feel to it.

It’s an “A” day!
