Rhode Island Weekend Weather for Jan. 13/14, 2024 – John Donnelly

Saturday 1/13/24:
Another vigorous storm system comes through in the night with heavy flooding rain in parts and tree-snapping wind with gusts to around 50 mph in the early morning hours. Warm afternoon highs in the upper 50’s with evening lows in the low 30’s with the stiff southeasterly winds shifting to southwesterly in the late afternoon/evening.
It’s a “C-” day!
Sunday 1/14/24:

A weak quick-hitting disturbance may spin up a shower or two during the evening hours, but not before we get some sunshine, albeit with lower temps than yesterday, afternoon highs around 40 with evening lows around 30 and southwesterly wind gusting to 30 mph
