Rhode Island Weekend Weather, December 23/24, 2023 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 12/23/23:
High pressure slides a bit eastward, with some warmer southerly flow drawing in air from the mid-Atlantic states, afternoon highs in the mid 40’s expected after morning lows in the upper 20’s. Some high thin cloud cover rolls in late in advance of a midwestern frontal system that will likely be Sunday’s issue.
It’s a “B” day!
Christmas Eve 12/24/23:

Christmas Eve will bring an iron gray afternoon sky with the chance for some late afternoon mist and marginal visual flight rules for the jolly Red Wizard. Upper 30 lows rise to the upper 40’s with a light a variable breeze with little to no chance for a White Christmas.
It’s a “C” day!
