Rhode Island Weather for June 12, 2023 – John Donnelly

A low pressure system approaches the area during the day with increasing cloud cover and showers developing by late afternoon. Some embedded thunderstorms may pass through towards midnight with the center of low pressure. Morning lows will settle in the low 60’s and afternoon highs top out in the low 70’s with a south-southeasterly breeze.

It’s a “B-” day!

John Donnelly was born in Hialeah, Florida and moved back to Rhode Island and settled in Johnston, where he grew up until graduating from Lyndon State College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. As a child John always wanted to know how air moved, and he ran towards, not away from, thunder and lighting and various other ominous weather phenomena.
