Rhode Island Weather for August 15, 2024 – Jack Donnelly
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Surface high pressure slides a bit to the east, bringing light winds around from the southeast. Some cool air aloft will allow for some isolated to scattered convective activity during the afternoon enhanced by daytime heating, meaning the slight chance of a thunderstorm, but should not be widespread. Highs in the mid 80’s and lows in the low 60’s.
It’s an “A” day!
