Rhode Island Weather, December 4, 2023 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Rain ends early morning, with some sunshine likely in the middle of the day. Temps rise from the low 40’s to around 50 on a light westerly breeze and cool back down again to evening low 40’s. There may be a light shower in the evening over northeastern corner of the state as a quick hitting low cruises through central New England.
It’s a “B” day!

John Donnelly was born in Hialeah, Florida and moved back to Rhode Island and settled in Johnston, where he grew up until graduating from Lyndon State College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. As a child John always wanted to know how air moved, and he ran towards, not away from, thunder and lighting and various other ominous weather phenomena.
