Rhode Island Fashion Week

RHODE ISLAND FASHION WEEK, Season IX, is a 3-day event of fashion, art and entertainment from Friday, September 24th through Sunday, September 26th. It is produced by Lights Fashion Philanthropy. It will be held at the Providence Career & Technical Academy at 41 Fricker Street in Providence.
The event spotlights emerging and seasoned apparel and accessory designers, as well as independent retailers. They celebrate the “beauty, diversity, and unique characteristics of our fashion, art, and entertainment industries in New England and beyond”, and note that the talent is not only local but also international creative talent on display. Featured are a wide variety of, not only fashion designers, but also artists, dancers, and musicians, and is synchronized with Fashion Weeks around the world. The show includes pop-up boutiques to provide guests the exclusive opportunity to shop for the looks and accessories seen moments before, on the runway.

The mission of Rhode Island Fashion Week is to help raise funds for charitable causes while promoting local fashion and accessory designers, clothing boutiques, and artisans, using our unique style of merging live fashion, art and entertainment.
Event times are Friday and Saturday, 6-9pm; Sunday, 3-6pm.

The event has a COVID-19 policy:
All attendees attending Rhode Island Fashion Week must either show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (fully vaccinated is defined as at least 14 days after receiving either a two-dose or one-dose FDA or WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine) OR proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of show time or proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test (rapid test) taken within 6 hours of show time. AT HOME tests will not be accepted. All attendees regardless of vaccination status, MUST wear masks over their nose, and mouth, at all times while inside the venue (unless actively eating or drinking).
