Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants for Artists – Deadline: Feb. 7
Emergency grants of up to $5,000 to support direct treatment expenses for medical, dental, or mental health emergencies that arose in the last six months for artists practicing in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts and choreography are eligible.
The staff of Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants particularly encourage artists of color, artists with disabilities, and artists living outside of the East and West coasts to apply.
Cycle 11 is now open, with a deadline of Feb. 7, 2022, for emergencies occurring June 1, 2021 and later. There will be a Cycle 12 will open March 1 with a deadline of April 5 for emergencies occurring Aug. 1, 2021, and later.
This is a competitive grant program. Please review the eligibility requirements and the eligible types of expenses to determine that you are eligible before applying. If you have questions, please contact the grants administrator. This project is supported by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation.
