To Do in RI: Providence Restaurant Weeks, now through July 20th
Enjoy special menus and limited-time deals at 60+ eateries throughout RI
Take a break from the grill! And all those burgers and hot dogs! Time for Providence Restaurant Weeks. Beginning yesterday, July 7th and through July 20th, nearly 70 restaurants throughout Providence and beyond in Rhode Island will be serving up dining specials, deals and prix fixe menus to mark the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau’s signature dining event.
“There are so many reasons to dine in and around Providence this summer – rooftop bars, live music, outdoor patios, and of course, Providence Restaurant Weeks,” said Kristen Adamo, president and CEO of the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB). “Providence is a culinary hub, recognized most recently by CNN and Vogue.com for our diverse restaurant scene. We hope you get out and enjoy it, and take advantage of the special deals restaurants are offering up over the next two weeks.”
The PWCVB is thrilled to welcome recently-opened restaurants to this year’s lineup, as well as restaurants new to Providence Restaurant Weeks, including Blake’s Tavern, Fleur, Kin Southern Table and Bar, Ladder 133 Kitchen and Social, Mona Lisa Restaurant, Murphy’s, Rosalina and Viva Mexico. A comprehensive list of all participating restaurants, along with their Restaurant Weeks menus, can be found at the newly-redesigned ProvidenceRestaurantWeeks.com – and are noted, below.
Presented by Restaurent, Providence Restaurant Weeks offers breakfast, lunch and dinner specials as well as three-course menus and more. Participating area restaurants will feature deals and specials for with some offering prix fixe menus. They may also be serving up signature cocktails and more.
Make your reservations now or bring home a feast from participants offering their deals to go. Enjoy a well-deserved break from the kitchen, while showing your support for Rhode Island’s local restaurants.
