Providence Art Club Winter Members’ Exhibition

The Providence Art Club will host its popular annual Winter Members’ Exhibition from February 16 – March 6, with over $5,000 in prizes being awarded by Awards Judge Marta Martinez, Founder and Executive Director of Rhode Island Latino Arts (RILA). The show will take place across all three of the Club’s galleries and will feature work in a wide range of media by more than 130 elected Exhibiting Artist Members of the organization.

The Club is very pleased to welcome Ms. Martinez as the esteemed Awards Judge for this important exhibition. In her work as the Executive Director of Rhode Island Latino Arts she has contributed enormously to the cultural life of the State of Rhode Island and the region. She has received numerous honors for her work, including an honorary Doctorate from her alma mater, Providence College, in 2019.

As the Club enters its 140th year of promoting art culture in the City of Providence, it remains a vitally important component of the cultural landscape in the region. In 2019 the Club was recognized as one of the top three art galleries in the State by Providence Journal readers and received a Rhode Island Monthly Best of Rhode Island Award for Best Art Gallery in Providence.
