Participate in a worldwide Toast for Peace at Bellini Providence
Starting yesterday, March 2nd, patrons will be able to purchase Nemiroff Premium Vodka, which comes from Ukraine’s oldest and largest distillery dating back 150 years. The restaurant does not sell Russian vodka.
The restaurant is urging patrons to support relief organizations. “As a former U.S. Ambassador, who stands on the shoulders of my relatives who immigrated from Italy many years ago in search of a better life, I honor and respect the freedoms that we enjoy here in the United States,” says Joseph R. Paolino, Jr., owner. “This gesture won’t move mountains, but I hope that this small act expresses our support and love of the Ukrainian people. I urge patrons, guests, and travelers to do what they can to show their support by joining me in contributing to one of the many relief organizations on the ground in the Ukraine, like the Red Cross. And, the next time they visit Bellini, I’d gladly join them for a toast to peace and hope for the future.”
Paolino is the owner of the new boutique hotel, The Beatrice, and the CEO at Paolino Properties, a downtown real estate development company. Paolino also directed his team to illuminate the
top of 100 Westminster Street earlier this week with blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian
flag.
