Operation Epic Fury Decapitates Iranian Leadership as Regime-Change Momentum Builds
Iran’s “Supreme Leader” and senior commanders reported killed as Iran retaliates and regional tensions rise.
Operation Epic Fury is the code name for a major joint U.S.–Israel military operation launched against Iran starting yesterday, February 28th. Described by the Pentagon and U.S. Central Command as an unprecedented, highly precise aerial and missile campaign, the strikes targeted core pillars of Iran’s military and governing structure. The attack took place in broad daylight, using the element of surprise as well as intel provided that leaders were to be gathered in one place for a meeting.
Iranian state media and multiple international outlets confirm that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the opening strikes, as well as reports of as many as 40 of Khamenei’s top leaders. Additional targets included Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) command-and-control facilities, air defense systems, missile and drone launch sites and production infrastructure, military airfields, and naval assets. The operation combines air, missile, naval, cyber, and intelligence capabilities and represents one of the largest coordinated force deployments in the region in decades.
The objectives are to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, destroy its missile arsenal and production capacity, degrade proxy networks tied to groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas, neutralize Iranian naval capabilities, and ultimately foster conditions for internal regime change by empowering the Iranian population to challenge its government. The strikes followed the collapse of nuclear negotiations — including indirect talks mediated by Oman — and come amid longstanding U.S. grievances over Iran’s support for militant groups, attacks on American forces, and continued nuclear development efforts. The US government felt that nuclear capability was reaching a key development point and time was imminent for negotiations to work – or not.
Iran responded with missile and drone launches toward Israel and U.S. bases in the region. Early reports indicate no U.S. casualties from those initial counterstrikes. President Trump was clear that “war is war” and some casualties could be expected while the mission is carried out.
Tensions across the Middle East are raised and concerns include threats to Gulf shipping routes and regional security infrastructure. Civilian casualties and infrastructure damage inside Iran and the region have been seen. Throughout the day and night, “X” (formerly Twitter) provided real-time documentation of attacks in Dubai, UAE and a US base in Saudi Arabia. The UAE said they would now enter the conflict because other countries are being attacked, and they would be joined by the Coalition partners.
Reaction inside the United States took expected party-line positions with dueling demonstrations in support of the US liberation of Iran and against the war on Iran. Sect of State Marco Rubio had briefed the “Gang of 8” members of the congress and department chairs and party leadership. More briefings were asked for and will be given on Monday. Last night a UN group met and heard from an Iranian representative as well as an Israeli representative.
England and NATO countries, while not participating, have expressed support for the actions to prevent Iran from developing nuclear capability.
The conflict is expected to continue for several days, if not several weeks, depending upon retaliations and developments to produce new leadership in Iran. President Trump has called for the military IRGC, local police and people to join together, the laying down of arms, and to join the regime change underway towards freedom people of their country have called for.
As of today, March 1st, Operation Epic Fury remains ongoing. Explosions continue to hit Tehran and Israel, as well as Dubai. Analysts warn it could mark the beginning of a prolonged conflict, while the administration frames the action as a necessary defense of American security interests and a decisive step toward ending decades of Iranian aggression and bringing about a new day in the Middle East of peace, freedom and prosperity.
Statements from Iran have promised a sweeping revenge campaign for the death of their Supreme Leader. President Trump has said that retaliation will be overwhelming if that takes place. As Sunday morning continues, massive retaliations have not occurred, yet the entire region, and the world, remain on alert.
Immediate include flight interruptions with over 18,000 commercial flights impacted. 80,000 passengers go through Dubai, and now the airport remains closed with passengers and planes mis-located. Concerns over shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz, the world’s critical energy chokepoint, are expected to materialize — and any conflict in the area immediately raises concern about its safety and accessibility. The UA has warned Iran that “your war is not with your neighbors” as they are attacking just about every nearby location, including a luxury hotel in Dubai. Of course, sleeper cells being activated in the United States are always a concern. International travel will be curtailed in this area.

Well said….I would suggest that many uninformed ,ill-informed Americans actually research what is happening vice repeating slogans gleaned from the Anti-Trump Press.
It’s ironic that Americans are protesting while millions of Iranians throughout the World are CELEBRATING and THANKING the US and President Trump!
I find it sad that Americans are protesting while real Iranians are supporting the strikes! Free Iran! ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve deployed to the Gulf and NAS five times over the course of my time in the Navy and taught Iranian Naval Officers while I was at the Italian Academy! This is for them….. Been there. Done that. Bought the T Shirt! Iran e-Azad!
Trump is following the Weinberger Doctrine!

Thank you for your service. Let’s hope this is short lived and brings hope to the region and peace and freedom. We still have people asking us how do we know the leadership is dead – how do we know we’re bombing – we have a lack of belief, prob. brought on by social media. Patriotism has been the price.
