Ocean State Job Lot & Home Depot – a match made in heaven
Hundreds of volunteers and more than 2,500 Home Depot buckets were filled with items donated by the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation during a massive distribution event held this week in Fall River.
Through its partnership with the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation, the items, which range from warm winter jackets, hats, gloves, scarfs, essential health and beauty items and food, will be distributed throughout Massachusetts to military families this holiday season. Thousands of families will be served through this creative partnership.
The buckets were loaded on box trucks, and moved across the state through the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation’s network, including local police and EMS, and other organizations.
