Local Gallerist Hosts International Virtual Exhibition
We hope everyone is taking some time this weekend to restore heart and soul – get some rest – recoup from these trying times. One of our best resources is the world of art and music. Take some time today and enjoy a virtual gallery exhibit put together for you by local gallerist Michael Rose.
The virtual art exhibition he is offering features artists from throughout the United States and around the world. Here is information about the and two artworks from the show – a painting by California artist Mitchell Johnson and a ceramic work by Chloe Delmonte who works between New York and London.

Providence-based gallerist and art appraiser Michael Rose is mounting an exciting online exhibition featuring thirty works by thirty artists from around the world, the Social Distancing International Virtual Exhibition. The show, hosted on his website www.michaelrosefineart.com, includes pieces in a variety of media by artists at varying stages of their careers.
Featured artists have studios throughout the United States as well as internationally in places ranging from Sao Paolo, Brazil to Athens, Greece and from Lagos, Nigeria to Calgary, Canada. The diverse collection of artworks was selected by Michael from over 100 individual submissions to a free open call for entries.
The exhibition, which will be on view through June and then archived, provides an opportunity for viewers to explore a professionally and thoughtfully curated collection of work in a free accessible platform, bringing art to audiences and giving artists an opportunity to share their work.
