Kanye and Kardashian spent time at the Houston Galleria with their children, engaging the public and taking advantage of activities for their children. Kanye also performed several times for inmates at the Harris County Jail, where he visited death row prisoner Rodney Reed, just prior to his pardon by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles.
All of this follows a visit to the White House where he acknowledged that he had been involved in “spreading messages I don’t believe in”, and launching his new album, “Jesus is King”, where he talks about his religious awakening and also his struggles with mental illness.
The chorus from “Jesus Walks”
Order, huh
Yo, we at war
We at war with terrorism, racism, but most of all we at war with ourselves
God show me the way because the Devil’s tryin’ to break me down
(Jesus Walks with me, with me, with me, with me, with me)
Both morning and evening events will be streamed on Facebook Live, YouTube, the Lakewood Church website, and app at noon and 8pm ET.
