RIPTA will run on its holiday schedule on Monday, July 4th, and detour Route 60, Providence/Newport because of parade.
Block Island
July 1 – 9pm or dark – fireworks – can be seen everywhere on the island
Bristol
July 3 – Bristol Fourth of July celebration. 9:30pm, Fireworks. July 4 – 10:30am, Parade
Coventry
July 4 – 9:30pm – Fireworks – off Johnson’s Pond – rain date, July 5
East Providence
July 3 – 5pm – Pierce Memorial Stadium, music with David Tessier’s All-Star Stars, Luis Neves, Mojo Rising, Brendan Rush and Bella Hannah – 9pm, Fireworks – rain date, July 5
Fall River
July 4 – 5 to 9 p.m – DJ set at Heritage State Park Meadow. There will also be food trucks along the Heritage State bike path. At Veterans Memorial Bicentennial Park, the Saint Cecilia Band Club, a 30-piece band playing patriotic classics will perform from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in front of the Iwo Jima Monument. The fireworks will kick off at around 9 or 9:30 that night.

July 4 – 9:15 – Quiet Fireworks – Beavertail park open – watch the fireworks from Newport’s Fort Adams – all bling, no boom!

July 5 – 9pm – new date/time for New Bedford’s Independence Day fireworks over New Bedford Harbor

North Kingstown
July 3 – 7pm – food trucks, entertainment, music. Lafayette Band. Fireworks at dark (approx. 9pm) – rain date July 5.
North Providence
July 3 – 6pm, entertainment, music by Reminisce, Notte Park, fireworks at dark – rain date July 5.
Pawtucket
July 3 – 5:30pm – live music, food trucks parked at Jenks Jr. High front parking lot – 9pm, fireworks at McCoy Stadium – stadium closed to public – rain date: Sat, 7/9.
Portsmouth
July 4 – Escobar Farm fireworks – RESCHEDULED TO 16th, dusk
Providence
July 3 – 7pm, fireworks (end 9pm), India Point Park – family fun, live entertainment – live performance, Becky Bass (vocalist, steel drummer, actor) and Blackout Drum Squad – parking not allowed on highway to view fireworks, public is strongly encouraged to access the park by the India Point Park Walking Bridge located at East and Wickenden Streets – rain date: July 4th.
Smithfield
July 1 – 4pm – Deerfield Park – food trucks. 6pm, Steve Anthony and Persuasion. Dark – fireworks – rain date July 8.
Stonington
July 4 – 10am – Stonington’s July Fourth Parade will kick off from Wadawanuck Square, 22 High St., Stonington. The parade meanders along the streets of the borough and is followed by a reading of the Declaration of Independence on Wadawanuck Square.
Wakefield
July 4 – 5:30pm, Old Mountain Field, 831 Kingstown Rd, live concert with Take it to the Bridge, food, concessions, raffle. Fireworks at dusk, approx. 9pm.
Warwick
July 3 – Oakland Beach – dusk – rain date, July 4th
Woonsocket
July 3 – 4pm – Independence Day Celebration – Fireworks at approximately 9:00 P.M. Rain Date for the event is July 5th at 4:00 P.M. The City of Woonsocket will be hosting its Annual Independence Day Celebration featuring an array of over 10 Food and Dessert Trucks, 2 Live Bands-The Noyz and Witzend and a spectacular, colorful Fireworks display at approximately 9:00 P.M. The event begins at 4:00 P.M
